We are Patrick and Carol. Both born and raised in South Africa and later moved to England, where we met and the rest is not up for discussion!!. Having grown up with the sound and feel of the ocean and rivers in our blood it shouldn't be surprising that this was the way we would spend our "quieter years"! (When we get there).
In the meantime, here is a little bit about us and if you follow our journey you will get to know us better.
Patrick - probably referred to the sides of his cot as port side and starboard side before he could even crawl. Sailing is in his DNA.
Me (Carol). I grew up crawling in the rock pools of Scarborough Beach, Western Cape, South Africa. The sounds of crashing waves and rushing water is the only real music I understand.
When I am not dreaming and planning my escape, I practice as a psychological therapist.
